Within a mother’s womb there was the sublimity of order; outside the womb pandemonium. Prompted by the contest of and for survival life for all living things is an arbitrary circumstance. Upon conception life is a at risk proposition. All living things are subject to nature’s apathetic “golden rule”: The fittest and luckiest survive — all others die. The truth of this matter is evidenced since the invention of the written word. And the most intelligent of animals is at fault for all of the pandemonium.

Humankind feigns peace but behaves violently. Peace has never existed but is universally regarded as the prime policy goal of every nation. Which ties right into the preponderance of hypocrisy, duplicity, and contradiction expressed within the behavioral norms of mankind since the primordial Homo sapiens traversed the lands and seas. Geographically from one end of the world to the other violent conflict is as conspicuous and obvious today as yesteryear. The only variable is the degree of violence, form, and the location. Respective of the general enhancements of social services and literacy, regardless of the legal consequences of extralegal actions, violence remains the universal “go-to” means to an end. The rational for such behavior is illusive; but then the fact is rationality, and reasonableness is not a requirement of violent actions. Simply speaking the reasoning of violence is too egregious a phenomenon for us “moderns” to comprehend; so in the interest of coping with the despicably abhorrent reality of violent conflict we humans avoid the palpable for the comfort of deception.

There is a Roman adage: If one seeks peace prepare for war. One cannot negotiate from a platform of weakness; compromise must vest from strength not parody. The world is not fair, moral, or righteous of norm. The world is a contest of wills. This contesting does not rest or rely upon the rational, the reasonable, or in charity, kindness, and altruism. The contests are always “winner takes all” and damn the loser to the remaining parts and pieces.

We can construct all the facades and pretensions of prudent sensibilities, rational reasoning, and goodness for goodness sake; but reality is unimpressed with such travails of wish-it-was-so. Reality will always cede obedience to the strengths of raw martial unadulterated force of arms supported by financial omnipotence.

Misbegotten by progressive ideals, conceived by the moral-rudiments of academic models void of reality; seeking the purposefulness of reasonableness and rationality while standing in the midst of ill-tempered, intolerable degenerates whose only concern is a Russian hegemony or the establishment of an Islamic caliphate throughout.

The president does not want to admit his mistakes in Iraq or his misunderstanding of Putin and Russia; so he is playing pretend as far out as possible, wishing and hoping to be saved by something extra-Obama to come to his rescue. A quick study of humankind coupled with his failed attempts at civility should adjust his heretofore brain housing group strategy. But he is over that hill and around that bend. The president simply wants to hold on to the Senate — nothing else really matters…
